Ogata Kenzan was a famous potter and painter of the Edo period (1603 - 1868).
Visitors can learn how to make a copy of Ogata Kenzan's work by making "Tatara" and "Rokuro" (a Japanese pottery wheel), assisted by the craftsman.
You can choose a shape from a sample of pine, chrysanthemum, maple leaf, and long rectangular dish shapes.
Your work will be fired and mailed to you later.
⁂Shipping charges must be paid.
