For single traveler : Ogata Kenzan was a famous potter and painter of the Edo period (1603 - 1868).

Visitors can learn how to make a copy of Ogata Kenzan's work by making "Tatara" and "Rokuro" (a Japanese pottery wheel), assisted by the craftsman.

You can choose a shape from a sample of pine, chrysanthemum, maple leaf, and long rectangular dish shapes.  Your work will be fired and mailed to you later. ⁂Shipping charges must be paid.
